Ling Ling HU          

Lingling Hu works in Stomatology Hospital of Zhejiang University as a maxillofacial surgeon after getting master degree from Zhejiang University. Her main work is digital treatment simulation of orthognathic surgery. She is currently a visit scholar in SSRL, focusing on creating  3D models based on CT or MRI images, implement them to augmented reality environment, and assessment of treatment accuracy.


DR. Yuandong Li        

Li Yuandong came from Hebei, China. He works in Xingtai  People's Hospital as a breast surgeon. He graduated

 from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and obtained his Ph.D. He is focusing on reconstruction 3D image of breast cancer and assessment of workload of surgery.

Zheng, Yixiong, Md, ph.d

Yixiong Zheng is a visiting fellow from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, China. He is a qualified MD and PhD that specializes in general surgery. He is currently focusing on 3D surgical imaging in surgical practice. ​

Chengrun li

Chengrun Li graduated from the PLA General Hospital and PLA Medical College,Beijing,China; who has got two Masters degree both cardiothoracic surgery and radiology. He is currently a visit scholar in SSRL,the goal for him is to integrate radiology image ‍‍as well as surgery to construct a more visual,more safe and more effective surgical environment to benifit more patients.

Dr. Yang Li            

I gradated from Sichuan University in 2010, and my PhD. major is optical Engineering. Now I am working in East China University of Technology (ECUT). My research interest is Human Factors, and Physiological Computing. My present research mainly focused on optical and digital image processing, which are included human-body three-dimensional (3D) information processing.  


Dr. XIAOQIN DUAN        

M.D, Ph.D, Associate Professor. She is a visiting scholar from department of Rehabilitation Medicine, 2nd Hospital, Jilin University in China. Her research focuses on rehabilitation-engineering interdisciplinary and medical education. She collaborates with engineers to develop the rehabilitation robot for patients with paralysis. Prompting collaboration between engineers and physicians to improve patients' ability in daily life is her long-term research goal.

Dr. Tianming Zuo​        

I am now working in the Research Institute for Educational Technology, Institute for International Health Professions Education and Research of China Medical University (CMU) in Shenyang, China. I graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine at CMU in 1996, and earned my Master of epidemiology and statistics at CMU in 2003. In 2008, I obtained Ph.D. in Social medicine and public health management at Harbin Medical University. My research interest is around clinical skills assessment and Computer-based Case Simulations.


Wang Xiaolin, md

Xiaolin Wang is a visiting pediatric orthopedic fellow from Tonji Hospital from Wuhan, China. He obtained his MD from Hua Zhong University of Science and Technology in 2004. He is currently looking into the feasibility of implementing 3-D printing technology into surgical planning.

XIAOLI LIAO

Xiaoli worked in the 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College as an anesthesiologist for more than five years after getting the medical doctor degree in Shantou University Medical College. She is currently  receiving training in the surgical simulation research lab focusing on the skill  assessment using eye-tracking technique between expert anesthesiologists and novices performing tracheal intubation.

Jani Koskinen​​        

Jani Koskinen graduated with a MSc degree in physics from the University of Eastern Finland. He started working as a project researcher at the UEF on the topic of computational evaluation of microsurgical skills and cognitive workload in 2018, and since January 2019 has continued his work as an early stage researcher.

Dr. XIN LIU        

She currently is an Assistant Professor and M.E. Supervisor with Computer Science and Technology at the School of Computer and Communication Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), China. She received the B.E. degree in electronic information engineering and the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from USTB, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. From 2015 to 2017, she held a postdoctoral position in information and communication systems at USTB. Her research interests include high-level data analysis, intelligent information processing, data mining, and decision making in medicine.

DR. JENNIFER CIFUENT​ES

Jenny is a Mechatronic Engineer from the National University of Colombia. She obtained her MD in Industrial Automation at the same university in 2010. She is currently a Phd Student in the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) de Lyon, France. Her work is focused on biomedical signal classification field.
